Exemplaire sur un flan très large et ovale, bien centré avec l’égide complète au droit. Très beau portrait de Ptolémée II. Joli revers de style fin où tous les détails du plumage de l’aigle sont visibles. Jolie patine avec des reflets dorés

EGYPT - UNITED Ptolemy - Ptolemy II Philadelphus

(285-246 BC)

Ptolemy II succeeded his father in 283 BC, but it was associated with the business before that date. Married in 288 BC Arsinoe, daughter of Lysimachus, he married a second time in 276 BC, his sister, Arsinoe II.
