Il est aussi le père de Cléopâtre IV, femme de son frère Ptolémée IX Soter, puis d’Antiochus IX Cyzicène et de Cléopâtre V Séléné, femme aussi de son frère Ptolémée IX, puis d’Antiochus VIII, Antiochus IX et Antiochus X, rois séleucides, une belle histoire de famille !.
