Commentary
Paris church tokens, such as the Feuardent lists, are riddled with re-strikes and hybrids. Our example is not listed, but its two sides are used for several re-strikes and hybrids duly listed by Feuardent.

Historical background
CHURCHES
The churches, of significant economic importance due to the factories, had their account tokens, most often banal. Over time, they became specific and primarily related to social status. In the 19th century, there are, in addition to religious wedding medals, baptism or confirmation medals.
