Très bel exemplaire sur un flan large. Types de droit et de revers complets, mais avec une faiblesse de frappe sur l'arrière de la tête au droit et devant le cheval au revers. Patine un peu hétérogène

The Aedui (Aedui), which could be translated as the "Ardent", were certainly, after the Arverni, the most important people of Gaul. The Aedui remained faithful to the Roman alliance during the War, although Caesar estimated the Aedui who participated in the Gallic coalition at thirty-five thousand men.. Caesar did not hold it against them and they received citizenship directly because they were considered "consanguineous brothers of the Romans".
