Commentary
Ce très rare quart de statère correspond au type D.4 du classement établis dans les Cahiers Numismatiques n° 166 de décembre 2005, par L.-P. Delestrée et José de Sainte Marie.
Le quart D. 4 repris comme monnaie type D. 4 provenait de Bazoches-les-Hautes (Eure-et-Loir). Classé en uniface, notre quart semble pourtant présenter un vestige de tête dont on ne distingue plus que quelques motifs visibles en bord de flan.
