Ce type est très rare ; c’est le second que nous proposons à la vente après le bga_290344. L’exemplaire n° 2611 du Nouvel Atlas, alors considéré comme un type inédit, proviendrait de l’ouest de l’Eure-et-Loir.

The Durocasses are not cited by Caesar in the Gallic Wars. They seem to have emancipated themselves from Carnut tutelage quite late, like the Parisii from that of the Senones. Their name means "the warriors of the fortified hill"..
