L’un des rares jetons à ne pas exprimer son sujet avec franchise... la loi du 28 mai 1838 est la loi fondamentale sur les faillites qui humanise le sort des faillis et qui sera simplement adaptée ultérieurement dans les multiples versions qui suivront. On peut supposer que ce jeton a été frappé par les syndics de faillite qui n’ont pas osé exprimer clairement leur fonction.
