Obverse description : Buste drapé à droite, la chevelure se terminant par une longue queue de cheval repliée sur elle même (L).

Obverse translation : “Diva Domitilla Augusta”, (La divine Domitille augusta).

Reverse

Reverse legend : PACI - AVGVSTAE.

Reverse description : Nemesis avançant à droite, tenant un caducée ; devant, un serpent.

Reverse translation : “Paci Augustæ”, (À la Paix de l’auguste).

Commentary

Monnaie fourrée. Faux d’époque. Ce denier est de la plus grande rareté (hybride entre un avers de Domitille et un revers de Vespasien).
Plated coin. Contemporary forgery. This denarius is extremely rare (a hybrid between an obverse of Domitilla and a reverse of Vespasian).
