Commentary

D’après Jean-Paul Divo ce type de douzain fut frappé en 1613, 1614, 1618 et 1620. Jean-Paul Divo ne connaissait que deux exemplaires au millésime 1620, l’un vu dans le stock Claude Burgan, l’autre conservé au Musée des Beaux-Arts de Lyon.
According to Jean-Paul Divo, this type of dozen was struck in 1613, 1614, 1618 and 1620. Jean-Paul Divo only knew of two examples from the 1620 vintage, one seen in the Claude Burgan stock, the other kept at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Lyon.
