Ce double tournois est frappé sur un flan assez large et régulier. Il est recouvert d’une patine foncée et présente de petites rayures. On doit noter une faiblesse de frappe à 1 heure au droit qui se retrouve à 5 heures au revers. Exemplaire de poids lourd

Marie, only daughter of Henri de Dombes and Henriette-Catherine de Joyeuse, was born on October 15, 1605. Because of his fortune, Henri IV had a marriage certificate signed with his second son, Nicolas Duke of Orléans, while she was only three years old. Nicolas died in 1611 so that Marie de Médicis proposed her son Gaston, Duke of Anjou. The union of Gaston and Marie took place in Nantes on August 5, 1626. She gave birth to a daughter on May 29, 1627 but died following her childbirth on June 4, leaving the usufruct of the principality of Dombes to her husband Gaston, brother of King Louis XIII of France.
