Exemplaire sur flan bien centré avec les grènetis visibles. Beau portrait de Vespasien avec une petite faiblesse de frappe sur la couronne. Revers de style fin à l’usure superficielle. Belle patine de collection ancienne

Commentary


Pour D. Sear, les émissions posthumes de Vespasien sont datées de 80 plutôt que de 79. Dans la nouvelle édition du Roman Imperial Coinage (RIC II, p. 219-220) ce type est placé en 80-81.
