Ces monnaies sont frappées à l’atelier de Denver (USA), l’atelier principal étant situé à Utrecht, ville occupée jusqu’en 5 mai 1945 par l’Allemagne. Sur la frappe totale de 200.000 exemplaires, 60.000 monnaies ont été refondues.
