La Crète fut rattachée à la Grèce en août 1913 par le traité de Bucarest.
For Crete, the only year of manufacture is 1901 with coins of 5, 2 and 1 drachma and 50 letpa in silver, 2 lepta and lepton in bronze, (1 drachma = 100 lepta). The coins were manufactured following the laws of March 23 and April 5, 1901 with a start of production in September 1901. The coins were demonetized by the decree of October 3, 1929.
