COUNTY OF PROVENCE - ROBERT OF ANJOU

(1309-1343)

Robert (1277-1343) is the son of Charles II the lame and Mary of Hungary. Robert is titular king of Jerusalem and Sicily, king of Naples and count of Provence. Married in 1297 to Yolande d'Aragon (+1302), he had only one son, Charles (1298-1328). It is his granddaughter, Jeanne de Naples, (1326-1382) who succeeds him.
