Ce denier est frappé sur un flan large présentant de petits manques de métal et des taches sur les deux faces. Exemplaire présentant de hauts reliefs

Obverse description : Croix cantonnée, portant un cercle évidé en cœur cantonnée aux 1 et 4 d’une croissant évidé, aux 2 et 3 d’une triangle évidé.

Commentary

Les deniers de Coucy sont tous d’une extrême rareté. Il existe deux variétés, avec ou sans croissant. Cet exemplaire avec un croissant au-dessus du château serait connu à seulement trois exemplaires. Celui mentionné dans le Boudeau avait été adjugé 110 francs or, hors frais.
