Ce denier est frappé sur un flan large présentant de petits manques de métal et des taches sur les deux faces. Exemplaire présentant de hauts reliefs

Commentary

Les deniers de Coucy sont tous d’une extrême rareté. Il existe deux variétés, avec ou sans croissant. Cet exemplaire avec un croissant au-dessus du château serait connu à seulement trois exemplaires. Celui mentionné dans le Boudeau avait été adjugé 110 francs or, hors frais.
Coucy deniers are all extremely rare. There are two varieties, with and without a crescent. This example with a crescent above the castle is said to be known in only three examples. The one mentioned in the Boudeau was sold for 110 gold francs, excluding fees.
