Exemplaire sur un flan large et ovale, bien centré des deux côtés avec un plat de métal au droit sur l’aile. Très joli revers. Belle patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets gris et mordorés

CORINTHIA - CORINTH
(350-306 BC)
Corinth was the unwitting victim of Macedonian hegemony over Asia from Alexander the Great because it then lost its strategic role. Ptolemy I occupied it from 308 to 306 BC, which marks the date of the end of the manufacture of "colts". It joined the Achaean league after 268 BC, but the city was razed by Lucius Memmius in 146 BC for opposing Rome.
