Avec son argenture superficielle. Grand buste massif de Constantin Ier occupant pratiquement tout le champ du droit. Rubans de type 2 aux extrémités bouletées. Au revers, neuf rangs verticaux de pierres. Portes ouvertes ornés de points: (3, 1 avec poignée, 2) sur le linteau de gauche (2, 1 avec poignée, 2, 1) sur le linteau de droit.
With its superficial silver plating. Large massive bust of Constantine I occupying practically the entire obverse field. Type 2 ribbons with rounded ends. On the reverse, nine vertical rows of stones. Open doors decorated with dots: (3, 1 with handle, 2) on the left lintel (2, 1 with handle, 2, 1) on the right lintel

Augustus

Constantine was born in 274, son of Constance Chlore and Helena. He was named Caesar on the death of his father on July 25, 306 and was proclaimed august on December 25, 307. He married Fausta, the daughter of Maximien Hercule, who gave him five children, three of whom were augusts. The first twenty years of his reign are devoted to imposing himself as the main august against Maximian Hercules, Galerius, Maxentius, Maximin II and Licinius. He is recognized as the first Christian emperor, although baptized only on his deathbed on May 22, 337.
