Obverse description : Buste radié, drapé et cuirassé de Constantin II à gauche, vu de trois quarts en arrière (A3).

Obverse translation : "Flavius Claudius Constantinus Iunior Nobilissimus Cæsar”, (Flavien Claude Constantin le jeune très noble césar).

Reverse legend : VICTORIAE LAET PRINC PERP// PLN.

Reverse description : Deux victoires debout face à face tenant un bouclier posé sur un cippe sur lequel on lit : VOT/PR ; à l'exergue, deux captifs assis dos à dos ; l’autel est orné d’une couronne.

Reverse translation : "Victoriæ Lætæ Principium Perpetuæ/ Vota Populi Romani", (À la victoire heureuse et durable du Prince/ Vœux du Peuple Romain).

Commentary

Poids léger. Avec son argenture superficielle. Variété non recensée dans le RIC pour la césure de légende de droit. Autel de type (a), sans point aux extrémités (cf. note p. 108).
Lightweight. With its surface silver plating. Variety not listed in the RIC for the caesura of the legend of right. Altar of type (a), without point at the ends (see note p. 108)
