Exemplaire sur un petit flan bien centré. Beau buste de Constantin Ier. Revers légèrement bouché. Patine vert foncé

Poids très léger. Rubans de type 3 aux extrémités bouletées. Cuirasse et épaulière cloutées. Ptéryges fines. Ce type avec cette marque d’atelier ne semble pas recensé et manque à tous les ouvrages consultés; Ce ne semble pas être une imitation.

Caesar
Born in February 317 according to the most recent chronology, Constantine the Younger receives on coins the title of Caesar like his half-brother Crispus and his cousin Licinius, as well as the title of Prince of Youth. Constantine II is the eldest son of Constantine I and Fausta. In September 337, he received the "pars occidentalis" from the Empire with subjection to his brother Constans, Constantius II having the "pars orientalis". Very quickly, Constantin and Constans fall out. The eldest is eliminated in April 340.
