Commentary

De la plus insigne rareté. Un nouveau jalon de la numismatique romaine pour l’atelier de Thessalonique Nous ne connaissions que le buste lauré et cuirassé à droite (B*) et le buste lauré et cuirassé à gauche, tenant la lance de la main droite placée sur l’épaule droite et un bouclier de la main gauche (F*). Nous retrouvons un buste déja rencontré pour l’atelier de Thessalonique, mais pour une autre émission.

We only knew the laureate and cuirassed bust on the right (B*) and the laureate and cuirassed bust on the left, holding the spear in the right hand placed on the right shoulder and a shield in the left hand (F*).
