Historical background




Constans was born in 320 and received the title of Caesar on December 25 333. Augustus after 9 September 337 with his two other brothers, Constantine II, Constantius II, it soon became angry with his older brother who died in April 340. After the death of his brother Constans recovery legacy of Constantine II and was in charge of the West.
