Exemplaire sur un flan bien centré à l’usure superficielle. . Beau buste de Constance II César. Frappe un peu molle au revers. Jolie patine verte

Obverse description : Buste lauré, drapé et cuirassé de Constance II césar à gauche, vu de trois quarts en avant (A*4).

Caesar
Constantius II was born on August 7, 318 in Sirmium. He was raised to the cesarat on November 8, 324 at the age of six. In 337, after the death of his father, it was he who murdered or allowed most of his collateral family, descendants of Constantius Chlorus and Theodora. Only Constance Galle and Julien escape the massacre.
