Augustus

Constantius became Caesar on March 1, 293 at the same time as Galerius. Constance, who became august in 305, went to Brittany to fight the Picts. He died in York as Septimius Severus on July 25, 306. Constantine had had time to join him, despite Galerius' ban. Constantine struck an important coinage of consecration then restitution in his memory.
