Commentary
La médaille, conservée dans une boîte bordeaux à feutrine et soie bordeaux, a été décernée à Jean Donnedieu de Vabres (1918-2009). Ce dernier fut directeur de cabinet de Georges Pompidou, secrétaire général du gouvernement, puis président de la Commission des opérations de bourse et de la Commission de la concurrence (future Autorité de la concurrence).
The medal, housed in a burgundy felt and silk box, was awarded to Jean Donnedieu de Vabres (1918-2009). He was chief of staff to Georges Pompidou, secretary general of the government, and then president of the Stock Exchange Operations Commission and the Competition Commission (future Competition Authority).
