Trois pièces furent fabriquées pour la Grande Comore en l’an 1380 de l’hégire (1890) par l'atelier de Paris : 5 et 10 centimes et 5 francs. Ces pièces circulèrent jusqu'en 1912. Les pièces de 5 et 10 Centimes existent en deux variétés, avec les différents faisceau ou torche, ces dernières ayant été fabriquées en 1901.
