Reverse description : Commode assis à gauche sur une estrade ; derrière lui, le préfet du prétoire ; devant, la Libéralité debout à gauche tenant un abaque et une corne d’abondance ; au pied de l’estrade, un citoyen monte l’escalier de l’estrade et tend son vêtement pour recevoir les pièces de monnaie que la Libéralité y répand.

Commodus succeeded his father Marc Aurèle, who died in Vienna on March 17, 180. He hastened to conclude a truce with the Germanic tribes and then abandoned public life.
