Exemplaire sur un petit flan bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visible. Belle tête d’Artémis. Joli revers servi par une très belle patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets mordorés et bleutés irisés

In 79 BC, Appius Claudius Pulcher was one of the two consuls of the year, a relative perhaps of our coiner. It should perhaps be identified as the character who served with Pompey in 67 BC in the fight against the pirates. This Tiberius Claudius Nero would then be the grandfather of Emperor Tiberius.
