Commentary
Jeannil Dumortier (1911-1983) commença la politique en étant membre de l’organisation des étudiants socialistes dès 1927. Il fut élu conseiller municipal de Saint-Martin-Boulogne en 1938 sous l’étiquette SFIO. Il sera résistant au sein du mouvement Libération-Nord. Conseiller général en 1955, député en 1956, il sera réélu en 1958.
Jeannil Dumortier (1911-1983) began his political career as a member of the Socialist Student Organization in 1927. He was elected municipal councilor of Saint-Martin-Boulogne in 1938 under the SFIO label. He was a member of the Resistance within the Libération-Nord movement. He was a general councilor in 1955 and a member of parliament in 1956, and was re-elected in 1958.
