Pierre-Alexandre Morlon est un sculpteur né en 1878 et décédé en 1951, élève de Faguière et Mercié. Il expose pour la première fois en 1900. Il est sociétaire hors concours au Salon des Artistes français. On lui doit de nombreuses médailles relatives à la guerre 1914-1918 et les maquettes de plusieurs monnaies de la Troisième République. Il chevalier de la légion d’honneur..
