Commentary

Médaille, conservée dans un écrin vert gaufré du blason tourelé et décoré de la Ville de Paris avec un intérieur en soie et feutrine verte, décernée au Général Pierre Koenig (1898-1970).
La médaille est accompagnée d’un papier de l’Agence France-Presse, daté du 18 juin 1970, adressé au général par Jean Manis ainsi que d’une retranscription de l’événement de remise de la médaille dans les salons de l’Hôtel de ville de Paris à l’occasion du 25e anniversaire de la création de l’association.
Medal, preserved in a green case embossed with the towered and decorated coat of arms of the City of Paris with a silk and green felt interior, awarded to General Pierre Koenig (1898-1970). The medal is accompanied by a paper from Agence France-Presse, dated June 18, 1970, addressed to the general by Jean Manis as well as a transcription of the medal presentation event in the salons of the Paris City Hall on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the creation of the association
