La table Teschen fut donnée à Louis Auguste de Breteuil par l'impératrice Marie-Thérèse pour le remercier de sa médiation lors du traité de Teschen en 1779. Le plateau est orné d'une marqueterie de pierres semi-précieuses et de médaillons en porcelaine de Vienne..
The Teschen table was given to Louis Auguste de Breteuil by Empress Maria Theresa to thank him for his mediation during the Treaty of Teschen in 1779. The top is decorated with marquetry of semi-precious stones and medallions of Vienna porcelain.
