Obverse description : Archer (Amazone) les cheveux longs, coiffée d’un bonnet pointu à demi-nu, agenouillé, tenant son arc des deux mains, son carquois (goryte) sur le côté ; au-dessus, une petite tête de Satyre de face.

Reverse description : Grappe de raisin ; dans le champ à droite, une mouche, vue de face ; le tout dans un carré creux linéaire.

CILICIA - SOLI
(5th - 4th century BC)
Soloi was a very important city located on the Cilician coast not far from Zepyrion and Tarsus between Cilicia Trachea and Cilicia Pedias was perhaps founded at the instigation of the Rhodians, but the city also seems to have links with Athens. The city was destroyed by Tigranes I, King of Armenia after 83 BC. The city was refounded under the name of Pompeiopolis by Pompey in 66 BC..
