Commentary
Il est bien évidemment impossible de reconnaître le visage du roi mais Feuardent a intégré le droit de ce jeton dans son recueil de gravure de portraits sous le numéro 17.
Feuardent fait également remarquer l’outrecuidante prétention des légendes de ce jeton en plein milieu des massacres de protestants commandés ou tolérés par le Roi.

Feuardent also points out the presumptuous pretension of the legends of this token in the middle of the massacres of Protestants ordered or tolerated by the King
