Monnaie non retrouvée dans le FRANCIÆ IV frappé sous Henri III au nom de Charles IX. D’après nos recherches inédites en archives, 1.256 écus d’or ont été mis en circulation suite à une unique délivrance en date du 29 janvier 1575 et le poids monnayé a été de 17 marcs 47/145. Cet exemplaire permet d’affirmer que tous les écus de Lyon au millésime 1575 sont au nom de Charles IX.
Coin not found in the FRANCIAE IV minted under Henri III in the name of Charles IX. According to our unpublished archival research, 1,256 gold écus were put into circulation following a single issue dated January 29, 1575 and the minted weight was 17 marcs 47/145. This example allows us to confirm that all the écus of Lyon from the year 1575 are in the name of Charles IX
