Ce denier est frappé sur un flan large, irrégulier, voilé et présentant une trace de pliure. Exemplaire recouvert d’une légère patine grise

Commentary
Probablement le plus bel exemplaire connu avec la tête du droit remarquablement bien venue à la frappe. Pour les rares deniers au nom d’Eudes, il existe deux grandes variétés, la première avec une croix non cantonnée, comme sur cet exemplaire, et la seconde avec une croix cantonnée de quatre besants. La série à la croix non cantonnée semble être plus ancienne.
Probably the finest known example with the obverse head remarkably well struck. For the rare deniers in the name of Eudes, there are two main varieties, the first with an uncancelled cross, as on this example, and the second with a cross cantoned with four bezants. The series with the uncancelled cross seems to be older.
