Commentary

Bien que très usé, ce statère peut être rapproché de l’exemplaire du Musée de Dijon trouvé à Vittel, publié par Blanchet dans la Revue Numismatique en 1922 pl. VII, n°9.
Bien que publié de longue date, ce type précis semble être si rare qu’il aurait été négligé par tous les auteurs !.
Although very worn, this stater can be compared to the example from the Dijon Museum found in Vittel, published by Blanchet in the Revue Numismatique in 1922 pl. VII, n°9. Although published for a long time, this precise type seems to be so rare that it would have been overlooked by all authors!
