Commentary
This type is directly inspired by the “branch type”; at the end of the “hairy helmet” is a ringlet. In front, between the horse and the rider, we find a branch that recalls the palm of the hero of the tetradrachm of Philip II of Macedon (GC 6680). Under the horse’s mouth, the small quadruped of the “Bartkranzaverse” type is off-flank on this example
