Exemplaire sur un flan large, ovale et irrégulier avec un argent légèrement corné. Usure régulière parfaitement lisible et identifiable avec une usure importante au droit. Très joli revers pour cette rare série. Très jolie patine avec des reflets dorés

CARIA - SATRAPS OF CARIA - HEKATOMNUS
(392-377 BC)
Hecatomnos, a native of Mylassa, succeeded Hyssaldomos, satrap of Caria in 395 BC. Commander of the Persian fleet, he took part in operations during the reconquest of Cyprus in 390 BC after the revolt of the king of Salamis, Evogoras I (411-373 BC). Hecatomnos remained in power for fifteen years, choosing Mylassa as the capital of his satrapy. His eldest son, Mausolle, succeeded him on his death in 377 BC..
