Beau portrait, très légèrement tréflé. Revers de toute beauté, de haut relief, bien centré. Minuscule fente au droit dans le champ, perceptible à 4 heures. Une fine patine recouvre la pièce

Historical background
CARIA - MYNDOS
(2nd - 1st century BC)
Myndos, a Dorian colony, was reputed to have been founded by the Trojans. The city was located about twenty kilometers from Halicarnassus on the coast. Coinage would not begin until the 2nd century BC and came under the influence of the Egyptians who had occupied the region.
