Exemplaire sur un petit flan légèrement décentré des deux côtés. Très beau portrait de haut relief. Très joli revers de style fin. Patine grise foncé avec des reflets dorés

(3rd - 2nd century BC)
The island of Cos, after 300 BC, found itself under lagid protection and was an important stopover for Egyptian trade. However, it must have entered the Seleucid orbit during the 2nd century. After 190 BC, she abandoned the Rhodian standard for the Attic standard. Like the other cities of Asia Minor, it had a very important civic coinage in the name and type of Alexander, at least until 166 BC..
