Exemplaire sur un flan épais parfaitement centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Belle tête de Caracalla. Scène de revers inhabituelle. Belle patine vert foncé

Obverse translation : (L'empereur césar Marc-Aurèle Sévère Antonin).


Reverse description : Caracalla lauré, vêtu militairement, debout à droite, tenant le parazonium de la main gauche et une haste renversée de la main droite, le pied gauche posé sur un prisonnier agenouillé à droite, tournant la tête à gauche.
Reverse legend : OULPIAS -SERDIKHS, (Ulpias Serdikhs).

After the murder of Geta, Caracalla was the decree "Memoriae damnatio" his brother. The "Constitution Antoniniana" was promulgated in 212. All inhabitants of the Empire became Roman citizens. The following year, he began a campaign in Germany and won many victories over the Germans, and the Goths Iapyges. He received the title of "Germanicus". The end of the reign was marked by 215 monetary reform and the creation of the Antoninianus. Caracalla began a final campaign against the Parthians. He was assassinated after celebrating his vicennalia.
