After the murder of Geta, Caracalla was the decree "Memoriae damnatio" his brother. The "Constitution Antoniniana" was promulgated in 212. All inhabitants of the Empire became Roman citizens. The following year, he began a campaign in Germany and won many victories over the Germans, and the Goths Iapyges. He received the title of "Germanicus".
