Caesar

Caracalla was born April 4 188 in Lyon. This is the eldest son of Septimius Severus and Julia Domna. On 27 May 196, it is created Caesar by his father who has broken with Clodius Albinus. After the defeat of Albin near Lyons, 19 February 197, he received the title of prince of youth and pontiff. Caracalla was appointed in April august 198 before the great Parthian victory.
