Exemplaire de qualité exceptionnelle sur un flan bien centré des deux côtés. Très belle tête de Caracalla au droit. Revers de toute beauté où tous les détails sont visibles.Infime petite oxydation verte au niveau de la légende. Magnifique patine de médaillier avec des reflets mordorés. Conserve l’intégralité de son brillant de frappe et de son coupant d’origine

After the murder of Geta, Caracalla was the decree "Memoriae damnatio" his brother. The "Constitution Antoniniana" was promulgated in 212. All inhabitants of the Empire became Roman citizens. The following year, he began a campaign in Germany and won many victories over the Germans, and the Goths Iapyges. He received the title of "Germanicus". The end of the reign was marked by 215 monetary reform and the creation of the Antoninianus. Caracalla began a final campaign against the Parthians. He was assassinated after celebrating his vicennalia.
