Exemplaire sur un flan large et irrégulier bien centré des deux côtés. Très beau portrait de Caracalla. Revers inhabituel. Très jolie patine verte

Caesar
Caracalla was born on April 4, 188 in Lyons. He is the eldest son of Septimius Severus and Julia Domna. On May 27, 196, he was made a Caesar by his father, who had broken with Clodius Albinus. After the defeat of Albin near Lyon, on February 19, 197, he received the titles of prince of youth and pontiff. Caracalla was named Augustus in April 198 before the great Parthian victory.
