Dès 1914, deux initiatives séparées donnent naissance à deux clubs spéciaux s'occupant de la race : le C A F C B B (Club des Amateurs Français du Chien de Berger Belge) dont Mme Jacqueline AUBRY-DUSOULIER en est la Présidente et la S C B B F (Société du Chien de Berger Belge en France) dont M. Gaston POUCHAIN en est le Président. Le C A F C B B est le plus entreprenant en orientant son travail vers une sélection attentive de la race et en participant, dès le début des années cinquante, à l'organisation d'une « Spéciale automnale » des Chiens de Bergers en compagnie des clubs du Berger Allemand, du Berger de Brie, du Berger de Beauce et du Bouvier des Flandres.

From 1914, two separate initiatives gave birth to two special clubs dealing with the breed: the CAFCBB (Club des Amateurs Français du Chien de Berger Belge) of which Mrs. Jacqueline AUBRY-DUSOULIER was the President and the SCBBF (Société du Chien de Berger Belge en France) of which Mr. Gaston POUCHAIN was the President. The CAFCBB was the most enterprising in directing its work towards a careful selection of the breed and in participating, from the beginning of the fifties, in the organization of an \\\"Autumn Special\\\" of Shepherd Dogs in the company of the German Shepherd, the Briard, the Beauceron and the Bouvier des Flandres clubs.
