Exemplaire sur un flan ovale et épais bien centré des deux côtés. Belle tête d’Apollon. Joli revers de style fin bien venu à la frappe. Patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés

Commentary


M. Crawford a relevé une estimation totale de 864 coins de droit et de 1080 coins de revers correspondant à une production globale comprise entre deux et quatre millions de deniers pour l’ensemble des variétés. Cependant ce type avec la tête ornée du carquois et de l’arc n’est recensé que par un coin de droit. Est de la plus grande rareté. C’est la première fois que nous le proposons à la vente.
