CALPURNIA

(67 BC)

The Calpurnia gens is of plebeian origin. Caius Calpurnius Piso married Cicero's daughter in 63, the year of the great orator's consulship. He became praetor in 58 BC. Caius Calpurnius Piso became consul in 67 BC jointly with Marcus Acilio Glabrio.
