Exemplaire avec un relief incroyable. Le portrait d’Apollon sort de la monnaie ! Symboles magnifiques, notamment la minuscule tête d’aigle au droit. Revers fantastique. Patine grise. La monnaie a conservé son brillant de frappe

Pour ce type, M. Crawford a relevé une estimation de 53 coins de droit et de 59 coins de revers. Ce type est en fait plus rare que ne semblent le montrer les ouvrages généraux.

CALPURNIA

(67 BC)

The Calpurnia gens is of plebeian origin. Caius Calpurnius Piso married Cicero's daughter in 63, the year of the great orator's consulship. He became praetor in 58 BC. Caius Calpurnius Piso became consul in 67 BC jointly with Marcus Acilio Glabrio.
