Ce potin est excessivement rare ; à première vue il correspond aux classiques potins des Aulerques. A. Bodson est le premier à l’avoir distingué (dans son article sur ces séries dans le BCEN 42 du mois d’aout 2005). Il ne disposait que d’un dessin et d’un second exemplaire publié sur le forum d’E. Wendling.
Ce potin est très particulier au droit, avec un avers “hémiglobulaire” avec une sorte de triskèle. Le revers est lui aussi atypique, avec deux esses couchées dans la partie supérieure et trois chevrons accostés d’un annelet dans la partie inférieure.
This potin is extremely rare; at first glance it corresponds to the classic potins of the Aulerques. A. Bodson was the first to have distinguished it (in his article on these series in the BCEN 42 of August 2005). He only had one drawing and a second example published on the forum of E. Wendling. This potin is very particular on the obverse, with a “hemiglobular” obverse with a sort of triskelion.
